WHO ARE WE?
The Fold exists to provide refuge and an education to children in need. We are located in the heart of the Bushveld on a farm between Vaalwater and Lephalale in South Africa. We want to create a loving, caring and safe environment filled with hope and joy with a good moral character. Our goal is to invest in the lives of these children for the long term benefit of themselves, their village and South Africa.
WHAT WE PROVIDE FOR OUR CHILDREN

FAMILY HOMES
We have 4 family homes, each having their own house-mother and accommodating 8 children per house. The idea is to have a healthy family lifestyle ensuring that the children feel safe and at home.
EDUCATION
We are currently providing education from age 3 and up. We have motivated teachers who encourage the children to reach their full potential. After the children graduate high school, we will help them find sponsors to attend university or a trade school.
ON SITE PROJECTS
In order for us to save money and be self sustaining, we have started a vegetable garden that provides fresh and healthy vegetables on a weekly basis. We also have a chicken coop that provides chickens and eggs.
